Congratulations to the following championship teams from the 2011 tournament

Mike, Pam, Thomas, Steven and Jeffrey Joyce would like to thank everyone who made the Flag Football tournament on June 18th such a success. We thank everyone on our foundations committee: from our family room discussions to their continued dedication, commitment and hard work to keeping Kenneth’s spirit and passion for life the focus of the day. We know none the tournament would happen without them, for that we are forever grateful. We thank the OVER 200 volunteers who worked hard throughout the day: referring games, flipping burgers, serving food, painting faces, staffing the football toss, arranging and managing the raffle items, taking 100’s of pictures, setting up, cleaning up, registering the participants as they checked in for the day, providing first aid, offering sun screen and managing the brackets and game times. Thanks to the many community business who donated their products, food or expertise to us. Last, but not least, we thank the 600 participants for staying true to the meaning of the day: having fun and PLAY. We are honored beyond words to share the memory of Kenneth with each of you. |

KJLife Flag Football Tournament 2010:

| The KJLife Flag Football Tournament on June 19th 2010 was a wonderful day to remember Kenneth's exuberance in life: over 500 kids played in the 3 divisions for a total of 120 games! Fans and athletes alike enjoyed the obstacle course featuring the regulation-size field goal post, face painting, Robbs ice cream, Bucks corners pizza. We had our first tailgate tent which featured a cool, comfortable place to relax and enjoy delicious food, a live band as well as our auction and raffle items. Our event Photographers also captured a team photo of most of the participating teams. |

 As Wyatt McCallum’s senior project at D.W. Daniel High School in South Carolina Wyatt challenged himself with the athletic goal to run the 2nd annual Clemson Easter Bunny Run Half-Marathon. Wyatt had always been an athlete, playing JV and Varsity baseball for the Daniel Lions, as well as playing on a showcase travel baseball team for four years. As part of his project he decided to raise money for the KJ Life Foundation.
The Joyce and McCallum families met when we were living in Birmingham, AL in 1994. At the time, Wyatt was three years old and Kenneth was just a baby. Although our families live far apart, we have stayed in touch throughout the years and have met at the beach several times.
Wyatt chose to raise money for KJ Life as a way to honor Kenneth’s spirit of adventure, kindness, and leadership.
Wyatt successfully completed his half marathon and made a generous contribution to the KJ Life. The Kenneth Joyce Foundation wishes Wyatt continued success as he continues his path of LIFE: leadership, inspiration and friend to everyone at Northwestern University in Chicago.

KJLife Flag Football Tournament 2009:

| The KJLife 5:5 Flag Football Tournament on June 20th 2009 was a wonderful day for 320 participants, 112 volunteers and 100’s of supporters cheering on their friends or family. The tournament hosted a broad range of participants, big, small, fast, slow, boys, girls, experienced and learning on the go kids. In between games players were able to participate in other activities, face painting, obstacle course, enjoying the concession stand and cheering on their friends on other teams. Younger siblings were able to join in the fun with the obstacle course and face painting! |
