Glastonbury High School Scholarships
Kristen Ambrose has shown a special amount of dedication throughout her youth. Her dedication and competitiveness has placed her on three dance teams each a different style. She also gives back to the community by volunteering as a dance instructor as well as a counselor at a summer camp for special needs students. She will be studying nursing at the college of her choice.
Robert Hogan has dedicated much of his high school years to holding leadership positions in both class and student council. He has also contributed to his community by being a member of multiple community service programs in and outside of the school. He also worked for the student newspaper as well as competing on the GHS Ski Team. He will be attending Brown University in the fall studying either physics or political science.
Taylor Moreau has demonstrated her exceptional leadership skills by being a student athlete for both the lacrosse and field hockey teams holding the captain position for both. She also led by example earning all conference honors in both as well as leading the field hockey team to a state championship and earning the Hartwell Award. She gave back to the sport of lacrosse by coaching youth lacrosse as well as giving back to the community through multiple service programs. She will be attending Adrian College in the fall.
Gabrielle Munns has shown outstanding commitment to helping her community. She has volunteered in numerous community service activities. She has also shown exceptional leadership skills in the many school clubs she a member of both in and outside of her school. She has also been a leader for her peers by being an officer of the student council and president of the class council. She will be studying education at the college of her choice.
RHAM High School Scholarships
Kyle Cunningham has served a role model for many of his peers. He has volunteered for multiple community service programs in and outside his school. He has also shown his leadership abilities through athletics by serving as a captain for both the Football Team and MYAL Basketball team. He has earned a number of achievements throughout high school such as the RHAM High School Football Coaches Award, the All RHAM Football award and by being on the Honor Roll all throughout high school. He will be attending Western New England College in the fall studying Mechanical Engineering.
Abby Fromme has demonstrated an exceptional amount of dedication in all areas. She has dedicated an admirable amount of her time participating in numerous community service programs and activities. She has also shown exceptional commitment by being a student athlete on the Soccer, Basketball and Softball teams all four years in high school. Despite dedicating many hours to both her community and athletics she was still able to excel remarkably in academics. Her outstanding determination in academics earned her a place in the top ten of her class. She will be attending the University of Connecticut in the fall.
Kelsey Goode has been an exceptional example for her community. She has participated in many community service events constantly giving back. She is the senior class president as well serving as a captain for both the Cross Country Team and Outdoor Track teams. Despite all of these comments she earned High Honors for all marking periods as well as earning the RHAM Female Scholar Athlete and the All Academic Recipient for Fall Sports. She will be attending Quinnipiac University in the fall studying to be a Physician Assistant.
Kyle Schilling has been a fierce competitor throughout high school. He earned All Conference multiple times in both Baseball and Wrestling. He served as a captain for both sports and led them to multiple conference championships. He was also an American Legion All Star in baseball as well as getting named in the Top 40 “Junior Select”. He maintained this level of competiveness in school as well earning multiple All Academic Awards. He will be attending Springfield College in the fall studying Health Sciences.
