The Kenneth Joyce Foundation

This foundation was established by the parents and brothers of Kenneth J. Joyce in his loving memory.

Our Mission

The Foundation will strive to keep alive the dreams of a wonderful and unique young man. Provide a legacy to follow a life that was all too short. Provide a place for all of Kenneth’s family and friends to return to on a regular basis. As we witnessed throughout Kenneth’s life, he always demanded of himself to do better, to try harder, and to be an example to those around him. Since Kenneth’s death a consistent theme emerged through our discussions with his friends, teachers and coaches. We learned Kenneth was a leader, an inspiration to those around him and a friend to everyone.

These 3 characteristics of Kenneth’s life inspired the formation of KJ LIFE:

The Foundation will:

• Award college scholarships for leadership and achievement
• Provide financial support to young men & women for opportunities to develop leadership skills
• Provide community service leadership and peer development opportunities in athletics
• Fund community events and seminars to develop leadership skills in young men and women
• Sponsor fundraising events to provide funding for these activities
